The “KomoArt Education” kit you purchased for creating 3D models provides hours of fun-filled enjoyment.
The activity is suitable for children aged 6 and up with an adult. The activity allows you to create a unique and enriching environment.
The completed colorful 3D model can be combined in various additional activities with accessories such as: images of people and animals, vehicles, road signs, trees and more.
The activity enhances and develops a wide range of skills including: imagination, spatial perception, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, geometrical concepts, creativity and more.
Through the construction of the model, participants acquire concepts in size, spatial relativity and spatial perception. The activity transitions perception from the abstract to the concrete and vice versa while engaging in creative and enjoyable learning,

Accessories for Creating a Model
To build the model, prepare the following materials according to the number of participants:

  1. Scissors
  2. A small ruler
  3. Wooden toothpicks
  4. Glue – a glue stick is recommended
  5. Colors – crayons, pencils or markers to decorate the model

A Description of the Model in the Activity Book

  1. The colorful parts needed to construct the model you purchased appear as spreads in the activity book.

  1. Each structure in the series is represented by a letter, for example A,B,C
  2. Each model part is represented in the activity book by a number next to the letter, for example B1.
  3. Some parts have a secondary letter, for example, 15-a.A.
  4. The thick black line that outlines the part is the cutting line.
  5. The inner black lines indicate where to fold the part.
  6. When folding, all illustrations should face outward.
  7. Areas with a broken line indicate where another part with the appropriate number should be glued.
  8. The area within the broken lines displays icons which represent the attachment of a specific part with the required number:

For example: Attach the part to part number 27].

[For example: Glue part 30 to the indicated area on part “X”].

  1. Each part has “flaps” for gluing the part and transforming it into a geometrical 3D shape.

Instructions for Creating a 3D Shape, For Example

  1.  The outer thick line indicates where to cut.
  2. Cut the part.

  1. The inner black lines indicate where to fold the part inwardly.
  2. When folding, the illustrations should face up as appears in the illustration.
  3. It is recommended to use a small ruler when folding. The ruler should be placed on the inner line of part before folding.
  1. Make sure to fold on the black inner line. When folded, the line between the flap and outline of the side will create a straight symmetrical line.

  1. After folding all the inner lines, complete the 3D model before applying glue.

  1. Administer glue to the inner parts of the folded flaps and glue the flaps to the body of the model.

  1. Hold the flaps until the glue dries.
  1. When gluing the last flap, you may use a wooden toothpick to help tighten the sides of the model.
  2. Remember: Glue the last wing only after the other glued areas have dried.

Steps for the Model Construction

  1. Stage A – Make sure to complete and construct all parts in the activity book.
  2. Stage B – Attach all of the model parts according to their displayed numbers before gluing them. It is recommended to use an image of the completed model to make sure the parts are placed correctly.
  3. Stage C – Glue the parts gently to each other.

To get a solid and precise model, wait for glue to dry before gluing additional parts.

  1. Stage D – Decorate the model.
  2. Stage E – Place the model as a decorative piece or use it as a game piece.

Wishing you an engaging and enjoyable activity,
